[Week 5] Devlog - 05 Jun 2024


Diversity Unites

- Updated Gameplay UI Implementation


We have implemented The health and cooldown bar last week, now we have added the Marble Counter, Timer, And Objective viewer. But for now we were only be able to functionalize the Marble Counter.


- Implemented Goons Animation


Goons can now trigger Attack animation if player is inside the attacking area.


- Added "The Local" Idle Animation

This NPC will give you info and objectives on how to complete the levels.


- Chest Opening (On Progress)


Player can now open chests to receive collectables such as Health, Keys, or even marbles. But for now only Chest Opening Animation that can be implemented, the collectables is not ready yet.


- Attack Hit Animation


This will be a visual feedback for the players to notify if their hits are registered. There will be a red overlay if the character receive some damage


- Updated Level Design and Environment


The Level design and Environment for the first part of the level are now done, We added Some trees, rocks, and bushes so that the environment will look less empty than before. Now we will only need to add enemies.


- Added Second Part of Level (On Progress)


Added Level Design and Environment for the second level, but still aren't playable. Now there's some props around the level and UFO that functions as a finish line.


- Added Temporary BGM


We were looking for a good Background music to elevate player mood while completing the Level and felt like "Julia" by Grand_Project was an excellent choice to do such thing.
